Nigerian Man Involved In Racketeering and Theft In US Arrested






Falcon police have captured one Babajide Ayowole Ogunnubi, 38, on lawful offense racketeering and burglary charges as far as it matters for him in a grouped promotion trick including the neighborhood daily paper and a Walmart in Beaumont, Texas.

Ogunnubi supposedly persuaded Linda Lazard Franks, 56, of Beaumont, to sign for cash orders and other budgetary exchanges and afterward give the cash to him. Franks revealed to Eagle police that Ogunnubi disclosed to her that he had heaps of companions in the Houston and Beaumont territories who might send cash to him.

Bird police say Ogunnubi stole at any rate $3,124.56 between Oct. 22 and Nov 28, 2017. He is being hung on $100,000 bond.

As far as it matters for her in this, Franks faces five lawful offenses. She is blamed for taking more than $28,000 in nine days through 28 false exchanges, some of them from Eagle County casualties, Eagle police say.



Franks was captured Jan. 6 and stays in the Eagle County imprison on $30,000 bond.
