Youths of APC Kick Against Tenure Elongation

The young wing of the decision All Progressives Congress, APC has kicked against residency prolongation for the state and national authorities of the gathering.

The representative of the young people, Mathias Obekpa said this at a news gathering in Abuja on Friday, approaching the National Executive Committee of the gathering to revoke its choice on residency stretching.

The young people said it wasn't right for the NEC to change the gathering's constitution for egotistical purposes as it approached every one of the adolescents to remain against, what it terms, "Exemption".

The adolescent wing noticed that it is just the national tradition that hosts the legitimateness to correct the gathering's constitution however not the NEC.

Reviewed that the NEC expanded the residency of the state and national authorities by one more year, which is in opposition to the four-year-residency stipulated by the constitution at its last gathering in Abuja.

The national pioneer of the gathering, who is saddled with the compromise task, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu had proposed that the Chairman of the gathering, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun quit the seat.

In the interim, there is division in Lagos APC as a group had conflicted with residency lengthening for the state and national authorities of the gathering.
